1.Applying for refund

Any student/candidate applying for a refund must do so in writing or by email to info@mastercourse.com.au addressed to the director of MasterCourse Pty Ltd trading as MasterCourse and Care College stating the reasons for requesting a refund.

2.Cancellation by MasterCourse

When the training program has been cancelled by MasterCourse, MasterCourse will refund the fees paid by the student/candidate in full within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation.

3.Assessment of refund

Upon receipt of the application for refund of fees in writing, the appropriate staff member of MasterCourse will check to ascertain whether the student/candidate has attended classes, or been issued with any relevant training materials or resources.

4.Exceptional circumstances

In additional to our normal refund policies -In exceptional cases of financial hardship or other extenuating circumstances, the student/candidate may make an application for full or partial refund and forward this in writing to the directors of MasterCourse.

Exceptional circumstances are circumstances that could not have been foreseen by the student prior to enrolling in the course. These new circumstances must make it impossible for the student to complete the course. Written proof must be supplied in all applications of a special refund due to exceptional circumstances.

5.Approval

The directors of MasterCourse will then determine whether the application is approved, and if approved, will make sure the student/candidate is removed from the class roll, and the full or part amount of refund is returned to the student/candidate.

6.Refund time frame

All approved refunds will be paid within 14 days of approval. The monies will be deposited into a bank account nominated by the former student. Other forms of payment, eg cash are not available.

7.Specific Refund Policies

Our refund policy is specific to different types of training courses and delivery methods.  Please read the refund policy applicable to your chosen course.

a.Refunds

No refunds apply after materials have been issued / access to on-line course materials is granted.

Assess to the learning platform is granted once payments was successful. Assess is granted for a limited time only. The access time varies depending on the selected course. Once access to our LMS Learning platform for your chosen course has been granted, returns, refunds or exchanges will not be provided to you unless the goods are seriously defective. Evidence will need to be provided as to the nature of the defect. The appropriate remedy may be provided depending on the nature of the defect. Changing your mind or chosen the wrong on-line course is not sufficient reason for a refund.

b.Access to Learning Platform

Access to this website is strictly subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement below.

All materials appearing on this site, including site design, content, questions, answers, explanations presented in any form such as  text, graphics, tables, graphs, icons, interfaces, audio  readings, video recordings and the selection, assembly and arrangements are owned or licensed by MasterCourse. MasterCourse reserves the right to reject your application to become a registered user. MasterCourse also reserves the right to suspend user privileges and block access of any registered user who violates this User Agreement. Use of this website implies your consent to this Agreement. If you do not agree with any provisions in this Agreement, you must discontinue use of this site immediately. . MasterCourses’s packages are for purchase by genuine students only, i.e. those preparing for and sitting IELTS, OET or UMAT and requiring a test score for either entry to a university or TAFE course, or visa purposes or to gain membership to a professional body (IELTS or OET) or students intending to pursue a career in medicine and other health courses ( UMAT). Invalid enrolments will be cancelled without refunds.

Our goods will be made available online to you via our Learning Management System. You will be responsible for providing the correct email address and MasterCourse will be in no way held responsible if the email address and physical address provided to us is inaccurate, outdated or incorrect. You will have access to the Learning Management System until your subscription expires, 12 weeks from enrolment, at which time access to your IELTS, OET or UMAT resources will be suspended.

While MasterCourse will ensure that servers and back-up servers have more than sufficient capacity to handle demand on the Learning Management System, due to factors beyond our control, the Learning Management System may occasionally not be accessible. MasterCourse cannot be held responsible for any access issues experienced, particularly during the few days before the IELTS, OET or UMAT. Further, since these type of Tests IELTS, OET and UMAT are not tests that can be crammed for, students are urged to practice regularly over a period of time.
